Image: Dainess Maganda published a chapter in the book titled “The Palgrave Language policies in Africa." Alexander Fyfe’s article, “Beyond the Liberal Subject: Susan Kiguli and the Lyric Poem in 1990s Uganda,” was published in Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies (2024). He won the African Literature Association's Abioseh Porter Best Essay Award for his article on Fiston Mwanza Mujila’s Tram 83 at the ALA May 2024 conference. Additionally, he was elected treasurer of the African Literature Association.
